I feel that this is probably one of the most interesting times to live in. More and more people are starting to open their minds and are realizing that as long as they work for someone else, they will NEVER be free. I see opportunities all around us. There are more opportunities today in this economy than there ever were before. More millionaires are born each day than times past. Of course if you watch mainstream news, you are totally oblivious to THESE news!

Realizing that there are countless people losing their jobs, I've gathered a list of the top 5 home business' you can start right away with little if any money. Although some of these may not appeal to you, we need to remember that we didn't always like some of the jobs we've had before, right?. We we're always willing to do something we didn't really want to do so long as we received a paycheck for it. Right? J

1. Pet sitting
I'm still surprised at the fact that there are so little people taking advantage of this! Just recently a friend of mine posted a bulletin on facebook looking for someone to watch her dog while she was out of town. You are the boss, so you can charge by day or hour. Play with numbers. Figure out how much you would like to make a month. Then decide whether hourly or daily rates will work better to reach your goal. Plus if you like animals, well it's a win win!

2. House keeping
The only thing you need in most cases is a license from your local city, and some cleaning supplies along with a vacuum. I know a handful of people who were working for a house keeping company for years making little hourly wage. After they realized how simple it was to start this business, they went out and got a license. Then they approach their current clients, but offered a better rate! I know, seems unethical. But you are a business person! And your old employer is now, not competition.

3. Virtual assistant
There are many entrepreneurs who are looking for virtual assistants who can do their daily tasks for them. Also known as outsourcing. Job duties can include; typing, data input, research, and writing. If you do the proper research online you can find people who are in need your hard worker ethics.

4. Finding treasures on Craiglist
This is soooo simple and profits are practically 100%. This is what you do; scan Craiglist.org find the "free" section. Pick out stuff that are still in good condition, clean them, and.... (drum roll) SELL them on Craiglist! This is exactly what a local second hand store does. Well, people bring them stuff they don't want and the store SELLS them. It is the American way. Right?

5. Internet marketing
Yes I did save the best for last. Although all the above have a huge potential to make you money, they cannot and will not make you a fortune. Internet marketing is going to be THE number one avenue for creating wealth. Problem is most people don't know how to get started or even where to begin. My suggestion is to start with affiliate programs. They are free to join. Plus they give you tools, banners, sample ads, and everything you need to get started. If you don't have money to invest in advertising, its okay there are numerous ways to advertise for free. These include, but are not limited to, social media (myspace, facebook, twitter to name a few) articles, banner exchange programs and the list can go on. If you are not involved in some kind of internet marketing, you will be left behind.
